Logan loved Halloween this year. This was the year of Star Wars. Logan was Chewbacca, Alex was Anikan,and Emily was Anikans pad wan Ahsoka. Leah and Aaron also dressed up. Leah was Queen Amidala and Aaron was Darth Vader. We had a great time. We went trick or treating down town. Logan started out nice and polite saying trick or treat and remembering to say thank you,by the end he was trying to grab hand fulls of candy and would run to the next store. He had more candy yesterday than he has had in his whole life. Before yesterday the only candy he new existed was M&Ms now he knows there is much more out there. We then went to Leah and Aarons to have dinner. After dinner we went trick or treating in Leahs neighborhood. Logan didn't last long nor did we think he would. Alex and Emily went on and we took Logan to Uncle Jasons house and then to both grandparents house. It was a long day for Logan. He fell asleep on the way home. He had a great time though.

They all look so cute!!! I can't believe how big Logan is! So what is your plan on the candy situation for Halloween? This year I let each of the kids pick their five favorites which they put in their own designated cup and they could choose one after dinner for 5 days. The rest of the candy went to work with Phil because I knew I'd eat it otherwise or the kids would definitely get into it. Evelyn became a candy fiend as soon as she knew what was in the bowl and we could not keep her away from those Tootsie pops... every time our back was turned, she was sneaking over to open one. It was cute, but also started getting kind of ridiculous. As they get older, maybe I'll offer to "buy" the candy from them or offer to trade it for a gift they've been wanting. I've also heard other parents have them choose some and then leave the rest for the "candy fairy". Hmmm... I'd love to hear some other ideas. Nathan really gets kinda berserk after eating a lot of sugar, and I don't want to let them ruin their teeth either! :)
