We had a little Valentine's get together at our house. I decided that it would be fun to invite Logan's little friends over to decorate cupcakes. So we had three friends Aidan, Ethan, and William over for lunch and making cupcakes. Their moms Jana, Charlene, and Leah were over as well as Aidan's new little brother Janson. It was sooooo much fun. Logan and I made the cupcakes in the morning he licked the beaters for the first time. (Before I put eggs in) Oh and I washed the beaters after he licked them. I love this age. The boys played really well together.

We enjoyed another New Years at my parents house in the bar room. The evening went fast. Smaller crowd than usual due to the weather. More snow URG!!! I made a new drink this year. I got the recipe from food network. It was Frosty Lemon Meringue martini. It was really yummy.
It was pretty sweet though so one was the limit. We really had a good time as did the kids. We can't wait till next year.

The craziness
Christmas was really great. It was really low key this year because of the snow. My moms sister and her family couldn't make it because of the weather. Kevin and I spent the night in fear that we wouldn't make it back. My sister and Aaron picked up Jase and we all just hung out all day playing with the kids toys. Kevin and I spent another night there because we didn't want to shovel snow in the dark.
Christmas Eve 2008
It has been a tradition in our family for my dad to read Twas the night before Christmas. He read it to Leah and I until we got married and then started up again on Alex's first Christmas. Here he is reading to the grand kids.

Eating gingerbread cookies. I think Logan had about a dozen this day.

Logan asked Santa for two things: Duck-the train, and the Sodor suspension bridge. Well Uncle Jase bought him the bridge so Santa only had to bring Duck. Thanks uncle Jase
